Cook with green ingredients
Kitcheners® Kitchens was proud to be the first Australian kitchen company endorsed as a 'Climate Friendly Business'. It achieved this by implementing an Environmental Management System (EMS) to measure its carbon footprint, offset 100% of measured carbon emissions and ensure an energy efficiency and waste reduction strategy is implemented.
Since then, Kitcheners® has refused to rest on its laurels, continuing to lead the industry on climate change action. Particularly in light of the growing environmental awareness of customers seeking environmentally friendly ranges.
Our design team’s commitment to a green-focused range utilising environmentally friendly materials, fixtures and finishes has led us to suppliers who meet this emerging trend. One such company is Laminex, who now manufacture their boards on E0 material, which is a material with zero formaldehyde. This satisfies Kitcheners'® commitment to offer EO materials on their entire standard range. Our customers do not have to pay anything extra.
The Laminex Group recognises the environmental and commercial benefits low formaldehyde MDF boards can add to the projects of architects, designers and specifiers.
E0 materials are just one aspect of Kitcheners'® serious approach to environmental issues. We’ve pioneered other initiatives including the exclusive use of timbers grown in managed re-growth forests. And for the last few years, we have committed ourselves to planting a tree for every kitchen purchased - an initiative that has been very successful.
So why not talk to us today about a kitchen that caters to your needs and those of the environment.
