Lastly, we're profiling the finishing touches that homeowners are choosing to make the ordinary kitchen a little more extraordinary. Clever considered touches, like smart lighting that engages the eye and flatters a particular feature. Lighting under benchtops, lighting within drawers, lighting to help locate kitchenware and lighting to draw the eye to a specific feature are now common features.

Another great finishing touch is flush taps that are out of sight thus enhancing the streamlined look of the benchtop. The innovative flush taps slide down out of view and are ingeniously hidden, effectively sitting flush with the sink.

Handless drawers are similarly popular for producing that sleek appearance. Designers are always exploring new ways of incorporating the handles into the panels so even tall pantry doors and drawers can possess that neat, minimalistic appearance.
